Aube Rubis, which means Ruby of the Dawn, has a name like a poem, a hopeful tip of the hat towards that moment when dawn approaches, filling the sky with this bright, pinkish stain that represents rebirth and new beginnings. Everything is washed away and we start again, as innocent as the day we were born. A cool, spiky grapefruit note brings the dew-drenched morning garden into sharp focus, while currants represent the fruity hues of the deepening sky. Patchouli is the damp earth and vetiver from Haiti the freshness of grass and roots pushing up through that same earth. A most attractive woody, fruity accord that signals rebirth, Aube Rubis is a fruitchouli with a difference. Vibrant and full of sparkle, its heart of luscious violets and iris are as bright as a ruby, dusted with a fine cosmetic power.
