In 1925, the House of Farina created the first world-renowned men's fragrance Russian Leather.
The name of this unique men's fragrance was inspired by the many Russian writers who influenced the sophisticated world of Paris, Berlin and Brussels.
The finest, most precious and softest leather was traded under this name.
It was the epitome of luxury.
In 1927, Coco Chanel followed with her men's fragrance Cuir de Russie.
The world in Germany changed radically in 1934. German names and German terms were needed. Eau de Cologne became Kölnisch Wasser.
Russian leather became Juchten.
In 1967, the House of Farina returned to its origins. Russian leather in a new look, noble and precious men's fragrance in a new flacon.
