Björk & Berries - September
September in Sweden. The last days of late summer are now a thing of the past. The air cools noticeably over the fields and the first day of autumn settles over the land and buildings of the farm with a chill. Milky sunlight falls on the scenery in broad stripes. It has lost its power and can only vaguely recall the piercing heat of summer days that reverberates in the golden stalks and the dry earth. The harvested hay lies bundled and stacked ready. Where the sun shines on it, despite its fading intensity, its characteristically spicy, warm scent mingles with that of the already harvested fruits, the damp woody notes of freshly cut logs and the clear, cool autumn air. Together they form an almost three-dimensional picture and become a sensitively composed aromatic snapshot. Björk & Berries is guided in its fragrances by the unique nature of its Swedish homeland with its volatile and distinctive seasons. In clear compositions of traditional regional ingredients and organically fermented alcohol*, the influences of fauna, culture and myths are revealed. With the declared aim of protecting the environment, people and animals, Björk & Berries vegan, Swedish-made eau de parfums are thus created using organically grown ingredients of natural origin - from a minimum of ingredients, for maximum effect.
The fragrance:
September exudes the woody, fragrant aroma of nature's first autumn day. Björk & Berries presents a sensitive composition that opens with fruity notes of pomelo and kumquat, complemented by a hint of soft lavender scent. Apple blossom and jasmine unite their sounds with the fresh tones of eucalyptus and gently form the heart of September, entwined with fine rings of vetiver smoke. Woody notes of guaiac and papyrus, along with the sweetness of a pink chocolate, underscore Björk & Berry's creation, which describes this special day of upheaval, change and new beginnings.
*The high proportion of natural ingredients can lead to variations in colour and fragrance as the perfume ages naturally. It is therefore recommended not to expose Björk & Berries' September to high temperatures or direct sunlight.
