Oud Blanc is not a revised version of Oud: it is rather a rediscovery. The woody-oriental nuance of the fragrance, this time in a white lacquered signature bottle from the collection, fascinates with its amazingly crystal-clear vision of this wood so rich in facets.

Perfumer Anne Flipo lets us in on her secret: "To get involved in the magic of the oud in a completely new and unique way, I was inspired by what happens when you burn it. It releases a hot, white, very captivating and intense smoke that is full of mystery and opulence. I wanted to recreate the scent of this smoke, which is at once warm, gentle and translucent.

Surrounded by a gentle date note, she combined this exquisitely precious oud accord with tender, velvety Turkish rose. Vanilla lends a sweetish-creamy facet to the composition, while frankincense with its infinitely smoky facets spreads almost a little chaos, further igniting all the multi-faceted nuances of the oud. The resulting warmth forms a striking contrast to the cool, appealing caress of aldehydic white musk. This brings the impression of a fragrance cloud of warm, opulent oud smoke to life.
