This sophisticated, woody and spicy fragrance has a very personal story behind. It started with a promise by Albert Fouquet to his childhood friend that he has lived up to in 1935 when he has travelled to Egypt. He had been dreaming about this for years. When he stepped into his friend's garden, he was immediately inspired by the great amount of unknown plants and scents and started working on this great fragrance - Egypt. With his friend Ahmed he has visited the Pyramids,. the temples and learned to know the ancient roots of perfume making, and he discovered a lot of useful knowledge. During weeks of intensive works in Ahmed's villa, he has created this very characteristic fragrance.
