État Libre d'Orange - Une Amourette
This project - a joint collaboration between Etat Libre d'Orange and Roland Mouret, couture designer - has been in the works for many years, and finally, the time is right. Mouret, best known for his sexy, show-stopping body conscious dresses that highlight the curves of the woman who wears them, seized his chance to pour every bit of his zeal for outré sensuality into this fragrance. Just how perfect was this meeting of minds? The brand says: "We both believe in a bold aesthetic, provocation, sensuality. We want our creations to enable clients to define themselves or become someone else. Roland drapes bodies ? we drape skin. We use the same words: fusion, structure, magic, eroticism". Une Amourette, which literally means a passing fancy or a little affair, is a perfume that seems to read as exotically different on different skins. Some pick up on the silky neroli above all else, while others yet experience a dry, peppery patchouli that's as sexy as a second skin. To us, it's the perfect balance between the searing crackle of spice on a hot pan and the soft, bright, slippery sweetness of neroli and vanilla, with a light dusting of earthy iris to unite the two. Bold, statement-making, and quite unashamedly sexy, Une Amourette is a wear-it-and-see kind of scent.
