Histoires de Parfums
The brand Histoires de Parfums is an olfactory library of book volumes that tells stories about famous people, precious resources, iconic years and memorable moments in music. Founded in 2000 by the talented Gérald Ghislain, the house is the natural extension of the fevered imagination of its founder. Ghislain is a gifted fabulist with a talent for finding the most interesting parts of a story and elaborating on it. His world is a rich and nuanced one, filled to the rafters with colorful figures, stories, legends, and moments that changed history. The scents express a vivid sense of history or place, therefore, but they do so in the polished style of French "haute parfumerie", with high quality materials, finesse of blending, and beautiful packaging.
Histoires de Parfums fragrances are all elegantly bound and presented as book jackets, 17 volumes in total, together representing collections of books in a library. They are all intense, long-lasting scents, in eau de parfum concentration. The concept behind each collection put out by the house differs according to its inspiration.
