This elegant, resolutely feminine fragrance is a creation by Valérie Pianelli herself, the owner of Comptoir Sud Pacifique. The roses in the garden of her holiday home in Sicily were the inspiration for Musc & Roses - simple, fresh, pretty, and sparkling.
The fragrance charms with its straightforward nature. It plays close to the true nature of a rose plucked from a sunny garden in the early hours of the morning - a handful of rose petals slightly wet and crunchy with cold morning dew, and yet warm and almost sleepily creamy with the warmth of the first rays of the day's sun. Green apple in the top notes help form the crisp impression of dew around the rose, and vanilla and musk in the base help create a sunny, languorous warmth. Beautiful, youthful, and sensual in its ripe innocence, this is a fragrance that gives us rose without too many competing distractions.
