Kilian - The Liquors - Angels Share
With Angel's Share, Kilian Hennessy revisits his family roots. Heir to a renowned eighth-generation cognac dynasty, influences of alcoholic sounds and bulbous oak barrels can be found in many of his creations. Angels's Share is Hennessy's most personal composition to date. Working with perfumer Benoit Lapouza, the result is a charismatic fragrance that describes the mystery of "la part des anges", the mysterious fraction that evaporates during maturation in the voluminous wooden barrels and is regarded by Henessy's family as a special form of offering to the gods.
The aroma:
Caramel cognac length and dark oak notes, spiced with a pinch of cinnamon, combine to create the signature scent of Kilian’s The Liquors collection. Angel's Share, created as a fragrance similar to a cognac composed of various exquisite brandies, seduces with liqueur notes and a finely tuned accord of tonka bean absolute, creamy sandalwood and the warmth of sweet vanilla. Together they form a deliciously seductive sound, delicately gourmand, refined with a praline nuance, palatable, attractive and of pronounced olfactory elegance. Angel's Share is surrounded by an elaborately designed flacon in the style of an art deco glass, which conceals its precious contents in elegantly cut glass. Engraved with Kilian's K emblem and adorned with a diamond-shaped plaque, its facets refract the incident light. Like all Kilian fragrances, Angel's Shares is a perpetual companion that can be refilled as often as desired.
