Giardino Benessere - Salaria
The Via Salaria was one of the most important trade routes of the Roman Empire. In ancient times, precious, fragrant salt was transported here from the coast to Rome, coining the name of the Via Salaria as the "Salt Road". The special freshness of this spice, which is still appreciated by renowned chefs today, is taken up by Paolo and Tiziana Terenzi in Salaria. Surrounded by fresh and herbaceous notes, they create a long-lasting fragrance that unfolds in a beguiling way on its own and can alternatively be worn as a component in a compilation of different fragrances from the Giardino Benessere collection.
The fragrance:
A sea breeze forms the opening of the boldly conceived Salaria fragrance. Myrtle and cassis round it out, while seaweed creates an initial salty hint. Its sounds are carried on by actual salt from Cervia, as it was transported on the Via Salaria in ancient times. At the heart of the fragrance, it underlines a fresh note of curry marin, which contrasts delightfully with Calabrian bergamot. Next to it, a melange of green fern notes and Italian lavender forms. The base of Salaria is formed by finely balanced woody tones and powerful musk. Together, the notes of Salaria composed by the Terenzi siblings envelop their wearer in the long-lasting, gently billowing, energetic power of the sea.
