Il Profvmo - Coquelicot
Sky-blue petals sway in the balmy summer breeze. The colouring of the Himalayan mountain poppy is so intense that the plant is said to truly compete with the radiant blue of the sky. As jewellery on the traditional festive robes of Tibetan dancers, the flowers unfold their fragile, surreal magic and fascinate in a unique way. They inspired Silvana Casoli to create Coquelicot as an olfactory homage to the blue poppy.
The fragrance
Opening with a melange of delicate bamboo and fruity watermelon notes, Coquelicot expands into an artful floral heart accord. Bright blue Himalayan poppy shines here alongside sweet jasmine and an elegant combination of hyacinth and rose. A finely woven web of luminous amber notes, frangipani, vetiver notes and a hint of patchouli carry the fragrant sounds and perfect the fruity-floral impression of this delicately shimmering creation. Il Profumo's iconic bottle made of translucent glass surrounds Coquelicot. It is adorned with the house emblem in bright red and the classically elegant golden cap.
