LEN histoire privée - Try to follow me
As usual, it took a while until all passengers had settled in their seats. When the A380 finally crossed the tarmac and took off into the air, a conversation emerged between the young woman and the likeable-looking man on her left. He was charming in an unobtrusive way and they began to talk about life in general and their lives in particular. As it turned out, he was a professional poker player and was on a flight from New York to Monaco to play in a high-stakes tournament. Fascinated, she listened, asked questions, and understood how life could be different - almost contrary to her own. As they sat side by side and crossed the Pacific Ocean, there would be just the two of them, all alone, magically drawn to each other's words. She sensed his scent and knew that she would not be able to ever forget this mixture of masculine and fresh notes... The plane landed in the morning. Their paths would now part. As a farewell, he gave her a note. She unfolded the little paper, still feeling the last whiff of his perfume as he became smaller in the distance. She read: "Try to follow me." It was written in sweeping handwriting next to the room number of his hotel...
The Fragrance
The masculine character of Try to follow me appears fresh, green and woody. Tangerine and pepper are mixed with ginger and green notes to create an energetic prelude, which is perfectly replaced by woody tones of cedar and vetiver. They are underlined by the beguiling scent of tonka bean and warm, calm tones of amber, moss and musk. Together they make Try to follow me a fragrance creation whose appeal and energy is unique.
About LEN histoire privée
A family recipe passed down through generations, which was once given as a gift to her great-great-grandmother, forms the basis for the histoire privée fragrance line created by Yelena Countess Artuchowkaja von Olnhausen. Under the brand name LEN, which goes back to the name of the giver, she had fragrances created which - each in its own way - tell a love story. Some of them are based on true events, others are fictional, but all of them have a connection to a specific city in common and represent a key to the realm of memories. This symbolic key is reflected in the LEN logo. The distinctive symbols of the city where a fragrance "plays" decorate the packaging and, like the flacons, were designed by Thierry de Baschmakoff.
