Régime des Fleurs
Founded in 2014 by Los Angeles artists Alia Raza and Ezra Woods, Régime des Fleurs began as an art project that soon developed into a beautifully bold, curated collection of handmade perfumes. The concept is nature and art as seen through the lens of the vibrant Los Angeles art scene, which pushes as many boundaries as it can get away with. With strange and unusual raw materials such as white ambergris and Earl Grey vapor, the brand’s perfumes quickly became known as quirky, artistic one-offs in the niche perfume world, highly prized for their individuality.
Located in Mid-City, Los Angeles, a nexus for art and fashion in this sprawling city of angels, Régime des Fleurs is a brand that’s half art installation space and half perfume production. The lines between art and perfume are blurred. The brand has several lines, including Fait Main (‘Handmade’ in French), which is the original line of hand-crafted fragrances, a collection of candles and home scents, and finally, the Pour Tous (‘For Everyone’) line, intended to bring the concept of high perfumery to a more prêt a porter space, i.e., perfumes that everyone can buy.
The Scented Candles
The Régimes des Fleurs Artefacts collection of perfumed candles is inspired by the stories, objects, and mythologies of the ancient world. Each candle represents the essence of civilizations past, together representing an amalgam of history. The collection was released in 2017, and includes four fragrances: Thaleia, Naiad, Return, and Swans. Each candle comes in a bisque porcelain vessel that mirrors the lines and aesthetics of an antique bust or fragment of an ancient statue.
