Authentic love potions from centuries past

In the monastery gardens of the Middle Ages, monks and nuns once grew numerous medicinal plants and herbs. After boiling, some of them could be distinguished by their aphrodisiac and anaphrodizing properties. Several secret love potions were brewed from the aphrodisiac plants. The recipes were kept for a long time and later, in the 19th century, transcribed for pharmaceutical pharmacies. Sous le manteau has rediscovered these old secrets in historical archives - and, together with perfumer Nathalie Feisthauer, breathed new life into them. This resulted in a collection of five unisex fragrances based on authentic love potions from earlier centuries.
