WHAT IT SMELLS LIKE
A virgin Drama Nuuï jasmine flower - pure and utterly stripped of any animalic facets - is dipped into a bitter, slightly evil green absinthe and then dressed in musky, spicy woods. Then the jasmine grows and grows until it is a huge, living and breathing emanation of night-flowering stock on the vine, sensual and full. It is the contrast between the virginal aspects of a morning jasmine - crisp and green-white - and the heavier, creamier, and sexier aspects of the night-flowering jasmine that provides the intrigue. Pierre Guillaume himself describes Drama Nuuï as "Jasminade" and as an "Allegory of Dawn, a floral temptation of tragic fragility."
