Tiziana Terenzi - Luna Collection - Caput Mundi
Under the sign of the Black Moon, the children Paolo and Tiziana Terenzi set out with their beloved family and grandparents Guglielmo and Luigia to see the ancient capital of Rome. A legendary city, Rome is also known as "Caput Mundi" - the capital of the world. Rome, the Eternal City, has shaped the whole of human history and enchants us yet through its monumental beauty, its streets and famous squares. Every corner, every angle of this grand and now decaying city exudes history and sparks the imagination. Here reality merges with fantasy, and legends become eternal myths. As black as the moon under which they originally set out, Caput Mundi's bottle is as dark as the night sky in winter.
Opening with a sweet, gentle floral note, Caput Mundi melts a deep pink Bulgarian rose into the soft, fluttery prettiness of tea rose and muguet. It smells green and fresh, but also romantic and lush. The powdery grey suede of Florentine iris rears its noble head, spreading a soft powderiness throughout the fragrance, underlined by the handsomely nutty, fragrant cabreuva wood of Brazil. A precious casket of aged black Indian, Vietnamese, and Cambodian oud and sandalwood forms the heart of the scent, setting up the thrum of ancient Indian mysteries, skillfully mixing it with the earthiness of patchouli and the white powderiness of iris for that Italian touch. Precious Sicilian red saffron deepens the leathery, sueded iris, while Cuban cedar and cashmere woods add a musky, resinous accent that is half wood, half humidor.
