Christian Cavagna - Murice Imperiale
An oceanic tuberose
This perfume reveals an enchanting underwater secret that nobody knew anything about before: tuberoses grow and bloom deep down on the seabed! A whole plantation with fields full of flowers. Its delicate blossoms gently sway in the current of the sea.
A mermaid once brought the tuberose here in a seashell from the coast. She rode the waves of the sea, challenged sea monsters, cried in the rain and dried in the sunshine. She hugged a boulder of ambergris floating on the sea and danced with coral and red algae.
On its long journey, the tuberose petals were soaked in salt water and impregnated with purple. An intense pigment obtained through the secretion of a mollusc...
The fragrance
Murice Imperiale gives the purple color a fragrant shape with notes of rhubarb: The Extrait de Parfum opens with a blend of banana leaves, saffron and rhubarb. At the heart of the perfume, fragrant fields of tuberoses appear on the seabed, framed by colorful corals. A touch of Petrichor mixes with the underwater impression - the scent of summer rain pattering on dry earth.
The base is a perfection of the floral-maritime fantasy: the oceanic tuberose dances with red algae, sea musk - and with the most precious fragrance delicacy that the sea is able to produce: ambergris!
