Atkinsons 1799 - Legendary Collection - Tulipe Noire
Elegant. Luxurious. Mysterious.
The new staging of the original fragrance from 1929 blossoms to new life. Coriander, bergamot, a bouquet of white flowers of jasmine and tuberose, ambrox, sandalwood, cedar and musk create a luxurious moment of indulgence. Infinitely elegant and seductively sensual. With its Legendary Collection, Atkinsons resurrects its historic vintage fragrance classics as modern fragrances. The Odd Fellow's Bouquet, The British Bouquet, The Fashion Decree, The Nuptial Bouquet and now Tulipe Noir form a collection that pays tribute to the achingly elegant British Imperial past while at the same time, signaling to the future with their clean, modern fragrance composition. Tradition and modernity in one.
THE INSPIRATION
A young man is wrongly imprisoned for his vision of breeding the legendary Tulipe Noire, the black tulip. His immortal love for the Gaoler's daughter not only keeps him alive, but also the precious species itself. The story of the tragic hero Cornelius and his great love Rosa inspired Alexandre Dumas in 1850 to write his novel "La Tulipe Noire". And this scent is one that stands for the kind of true love that never fades and never gives up, regardless of time and space.
THE DESIGN
The signature bottle for Tulipe Noire - how could it be otherwise - is supremely elegant, housed as it is in obsidian glass and crowned by a silver clasp.
