Pierre Guillaume Paris - PG 10.1 - Bouquet Massai
With Aomassaï, Pierre Guillaume led the way deep into the African continent to capture the exotic art and culture of the Baoule people in Southern Africa, who are part of the famous Masai tribe. In a mirror of Masai rituals, Aomassai was based around smoky vetiver, dried hay and African grasses, ebony woods, and spices that provided a darkly resinous balance to the milky hazelnut notes in the fragrance. With Bouquet Massai 10.1, Pierre Guillaume now tells us a new story. Replacing the woody-oriental and resinous, bitter notes in the original are now a set of bright, sunny, and floral notes that excite and elevate the spirit. At the heart of Bouquet Massai 10.1, a gentle floral bouquet of magnolia, peony, and fruity karo karounde unfolds, adding a glossy, bright touch to the dark, resinous coffee notes. In the base, notes of Tolu balsam, sandalwood, and soft fruit form a velvety backdrop that pleases and soothes.
