Tauer Perfumes - Cologne du Maghreb
The history of this perfume dates back to 2010. At that time, the first version of the Cologne du Maghreb was launched - initially as a give-away as part of the online advent calendar on Andy Tauer's perfume blog. The precious perfume sample was so popular among the small group of recipients that the fragrance was included in the regular Tauer perfume range in 2014 - but later was no longer available for some time.
Andy Tauer finally launched this new edition of the Cologne du Maghreb in 2022 - slightly modified, a bit more concentrated, but clearly recognizable with its well-known, characteristic essence.
The fragrance
Its name concisely sums up the essence of this perfume: the Maghreb is the inspiration for this refreshing and invigorating eau de cologne, which contains natural ingredients only. As for its ingredients, Andy Tauer enumerates: "Essential oils, absolutes, resins and love. No more and no less".
If you would like to know more about it, let us tell you what kind of fragrant treasures awaits your nose in Cologne du Maghreb: The traditionally produced cologne is rich in citrus oils (tangerine, clementine, grapefruit, bergamot, lemon) and based on contrasting notes of lavender, clary sage and rosemary.
As its name suggests, the perfume has the Maghreb in its heart - especially scent impressions from Morocco: cedar wood from the High Atlas and Moroccan rose absolute, as well as sensual orange blossom absolute, exotic labdanum, dark Java vetiver and Bulgarian rose oil.
Cologne du Maghreb is a declaration of love to the Maghreb that is as light as it is sublime - that sun-kissed part of the world in northern Africa radiates from every fragrance note of this luminous, fresh eau de cologne.
