Ex Nihilo Paris - Collection Initiale - Iris Porcelana
Iris Porcelana is a tribute to the precious iris pallida, a fragrance raw material whose exclusivity is reflected in both the rarity of its occurrence and its sophisticated nature. A new addition to Ex Nihilo's Initiale Collection, Iris Porcelana blends this exquisiteness with sounds inspired by French porcelain. Delicate craftsmanship and the finest material in haute perfumery thus combine to create an avant-garde fragrance. Iris Porcelana is the first Ex Nihilo creation by the promising master perfumer Dalia Izem, who ventures into new territory for her fragrance creation, using sensitivity, patience and know-how to create a fabulous and surprising interpretation of the sublime beauty of the iris.
The fragrance
Graceful and powdery, Iris Porcelana unfolds a gentle fragrance that delicately touches the skin like a veil of silk and lingers on it in an attractive, almost addictive way. Floral and woody notes shimmer with timeless grace, opened by a violet leaf chord that leads the senses to the fragrance's heart note composed of distinguished southern French iris and sensual rose. Lovely tones create this central sound, permeated with fine powdery harmonies. In the interplay with creamy soft sandalwood notes, however, Iris Porcelana's fragrance takes an unexpected, fascinating turn. Surrounded by well-accentuated cedarwood and seductive musk notes, Ex Nihilo reinterprets the elegance of iris with this special twist, creating a breathtakingly beautiful reading of its beguiling aroma. The soft, hypnotic character of his creation is echoed in Ex Nihilo's visual design of the fragrance. With the delicacy of the finest porcelain meeting the pastel colour spectrum of the iris, a translucent creation emerges whose unique appeal finds expression in a clearly designed bottle. Ex Nihilos Iris Porcelana is suitable as a solitary fragrance and as a component of the popular fragrance layering. In combination with further fragrances of Ex Nihilo, countless individual design possibilities arise in this way.
