Perfumer: Olivia Giacobetti
As far back as she can remember, Olivia Giacobetti always wanted to be a perfumer. Trained at Robertet, she acquired her independence by creating her own company: ISKIA.
Of her sources of inspiration she says: « The perfumes that touch me are often an echo of daily like, nature is an inexaustible source of inspiration. Travelling is how I find my sources, I've broken the bark of a yellow wood that smelled like quince, gathered sand with a sweet scent that I've never smelled elsewhere, and even stolen incense from a temple so as not to forget it. A passing emotion, a mood, a detail, an attitude, so many small bits of life are the origin of new desires. »
It's her sensibility, essentially so feminine yet so strong, and that mix of profound simplicity and sophistication that makes Olivia's approach so seductive.
THE FRAGRANCE
Pause at the edge of a garden in springtime and breathe in fragrant lilac whipped by the wind and you get... En Passant, Olivia Giacobetti's "impressionistic" fragrance plays with one simple note: white lilac, captured in an instant of time.
The composition celebrates and glorifies this scent from nature and marries it to watery notes, orange tree leaves, cucumber and wheat. A really radiant and serene fragrance composition...
