Pierre Guillaume Paris - PG04 - Musc Maori
Family: Gourmand, oriental, musky! This one has the power to make your mouth water!
WHAT IT SMELLS LIKE
What is Pierre Guillaume's recipe for making your mouth water? Well, first take a luscious milk chocolate liquor note, add in some crushed 80% cocoa beans for darkness and some milky coffee aromas, and mix them all together. Then nestle this milky chocolate-coffee creation in a thick white musk, as ludicrously soft as a cashmere wrap. For support, at the sides, add in some silky, milky blond Cumaru wood. Et voila, what you have is the most delicious black-and-white confection ever made: the dark chocolate elements contrasting perfectly with the blond, milky musk and woods. Ebony and ivory, come together in perfect harmony......sorry, but we just couldn't help ourselves! The texture of this scent is marvelous too. The cocoa bean and musk have a sweet, powdery softness that plays very well against the buttery, "soaked" texture of the vanilla, amber, and tonka that round out this scent at the base. Musc Maori is a playful, sensual gourmand perfume with a surprisingly oriental character that only comes out towards the end. It's a beaut.
