Casa de Coca - Chasqui
[Tscha-ski]
Multi-faceted, countless shades of green and angular rock formations shape the breathtaking backdrop of the Peruvian Andes. Once upon a time, the Chasqui, couriers of the Inca, traversed the impassable terrain from the seashore to the peaks. Similar to a relay race, it was their task to pass on messages from one place to the next in the shortest possible time and thus quickly cover long distances. This responsible task required endurance and strength from the Chasqui, who belonged to the elite of the Inca people. However, their privileged position allowed them to use the coca leaf and so they used its energising effect as a source of strength.
Scent:
Chasqui describes the energetic scent of nature. Lush jungle greens replace the sounds of the coast and flow into impressions that mirror the peaks of the Andes. Chasqui, named after the former couriers of the Incas, forms the rapid run through the richness of nature - and so the lively tingle of a lemon forms its bright fresh opening alongside Peruvian pink pepper and the sounds of a cedar leaf. Gently, but with increasing intensity, the sweet waves of jasmine blossom radiate, surrounded by clear mat notes. Ozone effects perfect the heart of Chasqui and lead to a fragrant base that combines leather and mahogany, penetrating and strong. Casa de Coca presents a sophisticated formula with Chasqui, creating the fresh and lively combination of Eau de Cologne and Eau-fraîche.
