Baruti is a perfume house with a mission: to create bold fragrances that combine creative and unconventional ideas with wearability. Each perfume is a mini-explosion that takes our imagination on a fascinating fragrance journey. "Baruti", explains Baruti founder Spyros Drosopoulos, "is Greek for 'gunpowder'. But the word is also used to describe something that has bite or rough edges. Each fragrance has its own rebellious personality, which merges with the personality of the wearer". All perfumes are produced in Baruti's own laboratory in Amsterdam. They like to defy traditional fragrance conventions, are at times adventurous and daring - but always wearable.

Baruti is a perfume house from the Netherlands, founded by Spyros Drosopoulos, who is both a perfumer and a philosopher.  He says: ?Making perfumes is a way of expressing myself and thus I think my work qualifies as art. Sometimes the message is evident, sometimes a little bit more obscured but I always speak to the connoisseur in everyone! So don't be surprised if you are surprised by what you smell, just trust your nose!"
