Baruti Mono No Aware
Mono no aware ist ein Schlüsselbegriff der japanischen Kultur und beschreibt die Wertschätzung der Dinge im Bewusstsein ihrer Vergänglichkeit. Spyros Drosopoulos begegnete ihm in der Autobiografie der Fotografin Sally Mann und fand darin ein Gefühl wieder, das ihn schon immer begleitet: dieses zugleich glückliche und wehmütige Staunen darüber, etwas erleben zu dürfen, das nicht bleibt. Ein Gefühl, das auch dem Parfum selbst innewohnt, denn es beginnt zu verfliegen, sobald man es aufträgt.
