Isparta ist der Name einer Provinz in der Türkei, die berühmt ist für ein ganz spezielles Rosenöl. Es wird aus einer Rosensorte gewonnen, die als "Isparta Sommer-Rose" bekannt ist; eine Vielzahl dieser Rosen blüht in Gärten und auf Terrassen-Feldern auf den Berghängen der Provinz. Die Rosen werden früh morgens gepflückt - dann sind sie gerade halb geöffnet und ihr reichhaltiger, charakteristischer, leicht würziger Duft ist am intensivsten.
