Amouage - Odyssey Collection - Lineage
Lineage, as the fragrance of the third chapter „Escape“ from the Odyssey Collection of Amouage, describes the first curious step of an enlightening introspective journey. Inspired by Oman's precious incense, Lineage unfolds the personal summer feeling of a meditation, the sounds of which conceal the profound recognition of the self.
The fragrance:
Sensual spicy notes open the sounds of Lineage. Composed of ginger, Sichuan pepper and Peruvian pepper tree, graceful saffron notes resound in its opening and lead the senses to a fascinating mineral heart note. Salty incense notes, mysteriously and gently wound around fenugreek and myrrh aromas, unfold in Lineage’s center. Amouage beds them on a powerful base that gently picks up the beguiling central tones and carries them forward in the sounds of frankincense and myrrh resinoid. Vetiver, patchouli, benzoin and labdanum frame the fragrant foundation lineages and perfect its irresistible character. Belgian artist Louise Mertens dresses Amouage's composition in a turquoise bottle, topped with a dome-shaped cap and decorated with graceful golden accents.
