Amouage The Essences Elsewhere
Elsewhere carries the legend of Sindbad beyond the horizon: the worldwide reintroduction of the once Oman-exclusive composition, inspired by the Opera Sindbad staged by the Royal Opera House Muscat. It begins in the warmth of home, then turns that familiarity into an invitation towards the unknown. As part of The Essences – the only Amouage collection to undergo an extended ageing ritual – Elsewhere matures as a 30% extrait for months in oakwood barrels and with sandalwood chips, reaching exceptional depth and longevity.
The Fragrance:
A warm, honeyed opening of honey, tangerine, grapefruit, mango, pomegranate and apricot, enlivened by ginger, cardamom and pink pepper. At its heart, black tea, an unconventional cappuccino accord and davana beguile, drawing the scent into dimly-lit depths. A base of tonka bean and vanilla embraces with sweet-smoky warmth, while cedarwood, labdanum, cypriol, vetiver and patchouli stand as an enduring reminder of the pull of home.
