Amouage - The Library Collection - Opus VII - Reckless Leather
Based on a wild swirl of spices and rare resins, Opus VII is a reflection on how seductive knowledge is. Through an intensely green opening of sticky galbanum and dazzlingly fresh cardamom and nutmeg, a "reckless leather" blossoms. Nutty fenugreek, wildly smoky rays of cypriol and the animalic call of costus and ambergris support the brazen leather middle, while a froth of fluttery muscone, sandalwood and incense provide a harmonious and carnal finish. Evoking a sense of peace after a powerful green opening, Opus VII becomes a lesson in sapiosexuality, subtly teaching that the seduction of the mind is more powerful than that of the eyes.
