It started in a little city in the Massachusetts Bay Colony with craftsmen who have built Violins and Bows in the 19th century. Their stores were full of old Mahagony, maple shavings, amber, colophony, old walnut wood and the scent of laqueurs and resins. "Bowmakers" evokes the unique smell of these stores and their atmosphere.

Ein fulminanter Start, fast schon stechend-balsamisch mit einer starken, fotorealistischen Holzlacknote, toll verwoben mit frisch gesägtem, trockenem Hartholz. Während des recht linearen Verlaufs wird das Stechende spürbar sanfter. Harz umspielt die trockenen Hölzer und eine sehr gut getroffene Kolophoniumnote kommt zum Vorschein. Dazu zeigen sich im Hintergrund (Zedern-)Wald, Moos und ein Hauch von Rauch. Mit dieser gelungenen Kolophoniumnote und den tollen Hölzern hat er mich extrem schnell überzeugt. Ein wirklich toller Duft.
