Dominique Ropion is a daring perfectionist and a true inventor, through and through. He's always willing to take risks, but he's also got a relentless pursuit of exact olfactory balance and flawless composition. His perfumes are like great architectural feats! Just like a bridge, which seems to defy the laws of physics with its seemingly miraculous suspension of weight, Dominique balances excessive doses of powerful ingredients with meticulously-measured, subtler accords until the composition holds up on its own. He says a good perfume must always appear obvious, and I think he's absolutely right!
