The Spanish opening, also known to chess players by its nickname Ruy Lopez, was first mentioned in 1561 by the priest Ruy Lopéz de Segura. Played by beginners and professionals alike, it is the inspiration for Mind Games' fragrance of the same name. Created for visionaries and dreamers, Ruy Lopez resounds as a precious melange of tantalising, curious and harmonious notes.

Black peppercorns flavour the delicious combination of ripe cherries and gently tart tea with which Mind Games opens its Ruy Lopez composition. The intensity of this opening is picked up and skilfully continued by a heart accord of lush rose petals, dark plums and davana. The heavy sweetness and the savoury, gourmand undertone, illuminated by a sparkling glow, form a breathtakingly complex fragrance, which Mind Games underlines with an elegant base of striking leather tones and exquisite woods.
