The Spirit of Dubai Baz
Baz is the Arabic word for falcon – and a bronze falcon crowns the flacon, perched high above the clouds as ruler of the skies. Across the Gulf, the falcon has stood for centuries as a symbol of freedom, courage, strength, loyalty and prestige. The Spirit of Dubai honours it with a creation from its Second Generation, presented in a lacquered golden wooden case with a brown monogram, whose drawer holds the story of the collection.
The Fragrance:
The opening soars over glowing spices: falcon leather meets cardamom, coffee and saffron, sharpened by black pepper, coriander and clove, brightened by bergamot, plum and red berries. At its heart, a lavish bouquet of orchid, rose, jasmine and tuberose unfolds, wreathed in smoked olibanum, tobacco and honey. The base lands deep and resinous on guaiac wood, sandalwood, cistus, labdanum and myrrh, warmed by tonka, vanilla and amber – crowned by precious Indian agarwood oil.
