Ertá Alé, the “smoking mountain” in Ethiopia’s Afar Triangle, cradles one of the world’s few permanently active lava lakes in its crater. For AZYA it stands for origin and transformation. The third chapter of the Ertá Alé trilogy is devoted to fire and earth: the glowing force beneath the surface and the dark matter from which new life emerges.
The Fragrance:
Bergamot and almond open with a subtle brightness, joined by Sicilian cassata, schinus molle and myrtle. At the heart, immortelle, pistachio and elderflower reveal a warm, slightly salty facet, while labdanum and benzoin add balsamic density. In the base, tobacco, tonka bean, vanilla, patchouli and amber notes merge into a dark, earthy depth – an aromatic-woody Extrait de Parfum of magnetic warmth.
