In 1872 the Crown Perfumery was founded in London – the only house ever permitted to grace its bottles with Queen Victoria’s crown. 150 years later, Clive Christian honours this heritage with the limited 150 Anniversary Collection. Contemporary bridges Victorian perfumery and the present day: a richly layered composition of 203 ingredients, crowned by the weighty crown cap that distinguishes every creation of the house.
The Fragrance:
Juicy blackberry opens with sweet freshness and a touch of warmth, sharpened by a spark of black pepper. At the heart, geranium unfolds its green, floral, sparkling elegance, wrapped in warm nutmeg. The base rests on spicy cedarwood and earthy moss, threaded with the malty, smoky accent of single malt – hedgerow fruits and whisky bar merge into a modern, unmistakable signature that lingers long on the skin.
