Goldfield & Banks - Purple Suede
Lavender from Tasmania! As Australia's first luxury perfume house, Goldfield & Banks creates the aromatic image of the nature of its home continent. Perfumer Dimitri Weber's fragrance creation Purple Suede tells of imposing, sustainably grown Tasmanian lavender fields under the scorching sun, the burn of essential oils and the toll of relentless drought. The unmistakable floral aroma, heat and subtle tart notes of saddle leather combine to create a modern accord that creates a complex olfactory picture that manifests itself in a long-lasting and intriguingly dry sillage.
The fragrance:
Purple Suede embodies the heart of Tasmanian lavender with a blend of untamed aromatic tones and sublime grace. Spicy-sweet violet sparks open Goldfield & Banks' creation. Lavender flowers and verbena in an alliance with softly peppery coriander seeds turn to the warming heart note Purple Suedes, which is filled with dry yet beguilingly golden tones of rock rose and amber. Its encounter with precious woods and patinated saddle leather awakens another wilder facet of Purple Suedes. Patchouli and civet pick up the animalic impression of the leather and wrap it in amber labdanum. Goldfield & Banks presents Purple Suede, an artfully arranged aromatic fragrance enclosed in the house's elegant bottle.
