Gravel - Hudson River NY
Gravel Hudson River NY is one of Gravel Cologne's later creations and refers to the pebbles (English: Gravel) from the Hudson River that make each bottle unique and have always been added by hand. The name of the Gravel Cologne brand was born in 1957 during a walk by Michael Knudsen on the Hudson River, when he first took pebbles from the Hudson River and added them to a perfume. It was on this day that the concept for Gravel was born. Hudson River is a fresh, floral fragrance with bergamot and geranium. It unfolds its full aromas after a short period of wear and develops aromatically - spicy with cardamom, coriander and lavender. The complex fragrance is rounded off with a sensually sweet wood-vanilla note. The fragrance lives from its interplay of earthy, sensual aromas with fresh, floral and sweet notes.
