Parfums MDCI - Le Barbier de Tanger
Le Barbier de Tanger is a time capsule of sorts, bringing us back to the days when men were men, and everyone wore fougeres with their Monday morning suits. But specifically, this fragrance recalls an old-fashioned barber shop in the back streets of a town in Morocco, where the memory of childhood is wrapped up in the aromas of aromatic soaps and oils floating through the air. A memory of a father bringing his son along when he went for a shave, the scent of the soaps and oils used so completely different in this North African town than in Europe, and so intoxicating to the nose of a young boy! Oakmoss, spice, and the tang of apple tea served in tiny little glasses on gold trays, fresh glistening slices of chilled pineapple to snack on, the oiled leather strap against which the barber's blade is sharpened, the exotic scents of the men around him - it is, quite simply, an unforgettable olfactory experience! Le Barbier de Tangier is a "retro" fougere created by Anne-Sophie Behaghel.
