Parfums MDCI - Les Indes Galantes
Refined and sumptuous, Les Indes Galantes is an invitation to let your imagination wander freely in an exotic country filled with heady spices, flowers, and fruits. Named for a piece of music by the famous 18th century French composer Jean-Philippe Rameau, Les Indes Galantes explodes out of the bottle in a veritable cornucopia of rich berry fruits, orange peel, and almonds, bringing to mind a stall in some far Eastern market piled high with glistening fresh and dried fruits.
Moving towards the heart, the scent becomes fragrantly spiced with cinnamon, coriander, and clove, all merging into a warm, luxurious vanilla accord, aromatized with orange peel. Counterpointing the rich, spiced orange-vanilla blend is a herbal, rosy geranium leaf and sturdy notes of smoky incense and leather. An oriental fantasy of a souk indeed, rich with vanilla, citrus, spices, and leather, all piled high for your olfactory perusal.
