Pierre Guillaume Paris - The White Collection - Dialogue with Venus
This perfume takes us on a trip to the 1970s. In that decade Pierre Guillaume was born. However, a photo series by star photographer Helmut Newton caused a lot more attention at the time:
"In 1977, the year I was born, Helmut Newton immortalised Charlotte Rampling in a series of photos entitled Venus in Fur. A feline and supersensual woman embodies sexual power: emancipated, she takes possession of her body and asserts her desires. Echoing the sexual revolution and its bohemian patchoulis, the perfumery of the 70s distils a chic eroticism, all in suggestion, where heady white flowers pierced by green, powdery and aldehydic notes anchor the fragrances of this decade in a glamorous sophistication." - Pierre Guillaume
The fragrance
Dialogue with Venus is a sunny blend of ylang ylang, vanilla, white musk, sandalwood, peach and a touch of fresh sea breeze. A white floral accord reflects the femininity of the 1970s, while vanilla presents itself in a fruity, silky and sunny guise.
