Isra & Miraj tells of a night journey beneath the moonlight and the ascent to the seventh sky – an initiatory path that leads to hope, peace and inner fulfilment. Sky after sky, the perfumer layers the most precious raw materials, carried by three mythical ingredients of great oriental perfumery: amber, musk and oud.
The Fragrance:
Sparkling bergamot and juicy tangerine open the journey, spiced with warm nutmeg and Ceylon cinnamon. At the heart glows a magnetic heliotrope, embraced by precious osmanthus absolute and creamy vanilla – deliberately sensual, almost carnal. In the depths, an intense amber balm unfolds, wrapped in Mysore sandalwood, patchouli and leather. White musk settles on the body like a second skin, while a subtly dosed natural oud adds woody, animalic facets and lends the fragrance its deep, unforgettable sillage.
