Tauer Perfumes - PHI - une rose de Kandahar
Phi is a luxurious fragrance from Andy Tauer's Collectibles collection. Collectibles are fragrances that are produced in small numbers and are available only as long as the raw material of the necessary quality for the manufacturing process is on the market. The availability of this fragrance can change at any time...
The scent was inspired by a natural extract from special roses "Nangarhar"* from Afghanistan's rose region. This rose oil is extremely rare and of the highest quality. Inspired by these roses, growing in a dry and rough land, Phi is a rare gem, complementing contrasting lines, rich in natural raw materials that add depth and authenticity. Due to the limited amount of the rose oil, Une Rose de Kandahar is not guaranteed to be available all the time.
Phi starts with a rich fruity line of apricot. An all natural apricot extract with its surprising richness enchants and blends into a cinnamon line and hints of bitter almond, softened by bergamot essential oil. These spices are "transferring" the aroma into its "rosy" heart: the extremely rare rose oil provides its unique fragrance in all its glory and goes very well with plums and petals, combines with a fabulous rose absolute from Bulgaria and a touch of bourbon geranium. On the skin, the rose petals will melt into the dark tobacco notes, built of an amazing absolute of dried tobacco leaves. The animal, leathery and woody tobacco notes of astounding quality open the way for a generous dose of Patchouly in the base of Phi.
In this amazing base note, woody and gourmandy notes merge in nuances and produce an animalistic character. Vetiver, tonka bean and vanilla complete this sensational base with richness and brilliance. A luxurious dose of exclusive musk and ambergris enclose the body scent of the rose.
