Atkinsons 1799 - 41 Burlington Arcade
Named for the new address of the Atkinsons store front in London, 41 Burlington Arcade is a dark, spicy aromatic fragrance for both men and women. Composed by Julie Pluchet, it belongs to the Emblematic Collection. 41 Burlington Arcade opens with breezy citrus fruits and a nose-tingling white pepper note. A delicate floral note, papery and light, begins to develop around the bright, peppery topnotes, softening them in a gauzy floral musk. The heart is incredibly spicy and invigorating; warm nutmeg, pimento, and cardamom spark off against a dark, sappy licorice note that's chewy, leathery, and herbal. Dry, aromatic woods in the base are infused with smoky vetiver root and resinous amber for a finish that feels aromatic and masculine, yet comforting and sensual.
