Naomi Goodsir - Corpus Equus
The play of muscles under its skin suggests the untamed power of the horse. Its silhouette impressively unites temperament and elegance, while the rhythm of its hooves sounds like a heartbeat. Gentle and strong, it embodies fire and defence, sparkling energy and extreme sensitivity. Inspired by the character of her favourite horse, Naomi Goodsir dedicates Corpus Equus to its impulsive, fiery nature. In collaboration with perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour, a fragrance composition is created that unfolds wild and free, energetic and mysterious like an impetuous ride.

Paying homage to the lively character of a magnificent horse, deep, animalic sounds resound alongside powerful leather notes in Corpus Equus. Velvety and dark contrasts of beguiling, dynamic elegance create a fragrance that leaves the classic structure of the fragrance pyramid and stages a finely interwoven play of contrasts. In Corpus Equus, the harmonies of black rose petals are found alongside horsehair and leather, seductive musk notes and the glow of amber. The interplay of their nuances, united in a delicate peach hue, is encased in an elegant glass bottle whose minimalist lines are echoed in the design of its emblem.
