Parfums de Marly - Safanad
King Salomo was once given a thoroughbred mare named Safanad, which means "the pure one".This enchanting mare was not an usual present - it was given to him by the legendary Queen of Saba. This Arabian thouroughbred perfectly embodied elegance, energy, a fiery temper and stunning beauty. So we find in this fragrance lovely and sweet notes of oranges and pears which meet orange flowers, iris and ylang ylang at the heart. The basis is rather stormy with amber amber and mighty sandalwood, but this fire is finally calmed by the tender and delicate vanilla which makes everything feminine and elegant.
