An irresistible, delicious peppery opening is soon dominated by a spicy, resinous depth that suggests frankincense without really smelling like it. The sparse structure is elegantly decorated with the wonderful aroma of unusual herbal and fruity accents such as parsley and strawberry, which, rather than distracting from the picture, simply reinforces it: a majestic incense fragrance with the dryness of tea, hay, and smoky vanilla bean filling out its structure. Thanks to the pepper and resins, there is a sparkling, transparent feel to the scent that makes it feel more meditative than churchy or ecclesiastical.
