L'Amour offers women a seductive, radiant bouquet revealing René Lalique's love for women and flora.
A Japanese prince chose René Lalique to create four large stained glass windows for the ceremonial doors of the drawing room in his Tokyo palace (now the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum). A masterpiece of style and technical prowess whose main figurative motif pays tribute to a majestic woman surrounded by radiant wings that adorn her in feathers. Garlands of flowers escape from her hands and extend into a decorative band.
THE FRAGRANCE
Composed by Nathalie Lorson, the fragrance offers an olfactory declaration of love. The citrus freshness of bergamot deliciously blends with elegant rosebud and soft neroli. The heart, crucial in a love story, enriches the fragrance with a bouquet of sumptuous white flowers: tuberose, gardenia and jasmine. The base is structured on dry, warm cedar and creamy sandalwood resting on a bed of addictive musk. Floral and sensual, L'Amour is an elixir of pure seduction.
THE PACKAGING
Inspired by René Lalique's masterpiece, the packaging pays tribute to this decorative motif. Its rays of sunlight are satin etched on a heavy glass cube-shaped bottle. A homage to light, the design evokes a radiant freshness. The name is written in black: L'Amour Lalique. A golden metal plate sits on the bottle's shoulders topped by a transparent cube cap. Around the neck, an ornamental cord adorned with a tassel adds a touch of refined elegance. The base of the bottle is tinted pink, the colour of a tender and delicate love. The pack adopts the motif in pink and gold, revealing the details of the quasi-abstract plumage in a rosette, and the band that traditionally distinguishes Lalique perfumes runs around the centre.
