Unum - But Not Today
Filippo Sorcinelli creates But Not Today with extraordinary sounds as a homage to Ridley Scott's "Hannibal". His olfactory equivalent of this film, largely shot in Florence, translates the dialogue of the main characters into fascinating aromas and lets Hannibal Lecter Clarice Starling describe the constant race of human striving for different values and ideals....
The fragrance:
Rough and untamed, the first notes of But Not Today's furious opening seem to submit, at first reluctantly but eventually passionately, to a resonant harmony. With an opening of bergamot, artemisia, lemon and gentle lavender, Filippo Sorcinelli's fragrance creation embraces the senses, ensnares, beguiles and questions. Storax, cascarilla and herbal notes form its intense heart, bedding down on precious woods, mosses and resins. In But Not Today's impression, olfactory nuances of metal and blood merge with animalic sounds to form a disturbing accord, which is contrasted by an innocent floral euphony composed of white flowers and fine spicy notes. But Not Today is encased in an intense red bottle with a clear design that perfectly underlines the character of the fragrance.
