Amouage - The Renaissance Collection - Meander
Inspired by the Plateau of Dhofar
"I chose to paint a contradiction between lush green vegetal notes and warm dry desert dust: fog and smoke; real and unreal. Two different qualities of Olibanum, an oil and a resinoid, lend the precious incense signature the fragrance carries throughout its development."
- Mackenzie Reilly, perfumer
Meander explores the intoxicating happiness in a land of fog, lush green mountains and flowing rivers.
The perfume is inspired by the monsoon season in the southernmost governorate of the Sultanate Oman. Meander evokes the ubiquitous, surreal-looking fog during this period with incense and smoky vetiver; the rich green is echoed by Cypriol and Jonquille - while the caramel-colored mud is brought to life by earthy-creamy sandalwood, carrot and orris root notes.
Amouage - Renaissance Collection
A collection that heralds the beginning of a new era in the history of Amouage. The collection describes a crucial chapter in the brand's odyssey to paradise and features four seductive fragrances. In each of them, Amouage's romantic interpretation of the encounter with pure, unadulterated pleasure is depicted.
A land of contrasts
The exquisite scent compositions, inspired by their homeland, the Sultanate of Oman, are a liberating force of imagination, rising from four unique locations in Oman.
The fragrances in this work go back to the roots of the brand. Each creation is inspired by a different region of Oman and is based on typical scents of the respective landscapes.
